You go to the doctor’s office, wait to see the doctor, and then have to pay the ever-increasing Co-Pay as you leave.
Then you go across town to the pharmacy, where you pay another Co-Pay for your prescriptions. While at the pharmacy, you also purchase some cough medicine and aspirin.
By the end of the day, you have spent a lot of money and most likely paid cash or wrote a couple of checks.
After that, you submit your FSA claim and wait for your reimbursement check to arrive or the direct deposit to post to your checking account.
